It’s easier for them to picture themselves enjoying a backyard with a neat lawn if they don’t have to imagine cutting through a load of overgrowth first. While it’s nice to do your garden up, the most important thing is that it looks neat and manageable.

Make sure to oil any squeaky or stuck hinges as well, so people don’t spot potential problems as they inspect your home. Keep a sharp eye out and imagine you’re a potential buyer.
