The other evening I was out walking in my neighborhood while on the way to a design event, on nearby Beverly Boulevard. Along the way I stopped to photograph some of the amazing beautiful old buildings in the La Brea and Beverly Boulevard neighborhood of Los Angeles. This particular street is lined with an eclectic mix of quitenessetial old LA style. Here’s a little photographic tour... Lush landscape covers the facade of a building presumably from the 1940’s era. A building I assume was built around the 1930’s or 40’s. The details of this building feels so European. An early Spanish style building. Another Spanish style with intricate tile detail. Another building I believe from the 1940’s. Another Spanish style. A grouping of Normandy style buildings. Streamline Moderne right on the same street!
